Exposure to asbestos dust left on the scaffolding

The family of Mr Faithfull wins £5,500 payout after their sad loss.

Mr Faithfull worked from 1961-1986 as a Scaffolder at Didcot Power Station for Palmers Scaffolding (a contracter to Central Electricity Generating Board).  He was exposed to asbestos dust left on the scaffolding as a result of its use by Laggers.

This was a particularly difficult case as Mr Faithfull had other medical conditions that contributed to his said death along with asbestosis.  If a person dies of a condition that is not asbestos related their family still have the right to claim the compensation due for the asbestos condition.
