As we have reported previously following an Act of the Scottish Parliament, victims of pleural plaques where eligible for compensation.
It was recently reported in the Independent newspaper that insurance companies are failing mesothelioma sufferers because many of the insurance policies meant to protect workers have been lost.

Asbestos in Our Schools
It was reported on the BBC’s progress Inside Out, South East that 90% of schools in South East England contain asbestos. The programme used the Freedom of Information Act to conduct the first survey of asbestos in the region’s schools.
A former client Mrs X is undergoing treatment in Frankfurt, Germany as part of her treatment for mesothelioma caused by exposure to asbestos.
